Kelsea Ballerini faced some pregnancy rumors recently, and she was quick to shut them down in her own way on TikTok.
These rumors started swirling after Ballerini had to postpone some shows last week due to illness. In her TikTok clip, she appeared on the screen in a black winter coat, a ball cap, and eye masks. Included with the clip was a fan comment asking, "Maybe pregnant?" Kelsea looked down in the video clip and sighed, then said in a deadpan voice, "Or maybe it's the flu." She then sniffled and added, "Yeah. Cool."
Ballerini and her boyfriend, Chase Stokes, are still going strong after they started dating back in January 2023. The country star and the actor celebrated their two-year anniversary on January 7.
Ballerini is back on the road and playing shows this week on her headling arena tour. She recently posted about playing a show in Philadelphia after the Eagles' Super Bowl win, where she wore an Eagles jersey on stage. She wrote, "just what the doctor ordered."
The singer had a bit of a setback last week (2/6), when, due to illness, she had to cut her show in Buffalo, New York, short and walked off stage early. She has rescheduled that show.
Kelsea also postponed a show at PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, and last Saturday's (2/8) planned show at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto now has new dates. The rescheduled shows will take place on April 11 (Buffalo), April 12 (Pittsburgh), and April 13 (Toronto). Tickets will be valid for the new dates.
Ballerini said on Insta Stories, dressed in a pink sweatshirt and with little makeup on, "I'm sicker than I'm trying to be tonight … I'm so sorry. I never want to give you a half-a-- show. I hope you understand, and thank you for the grace to be human. I love you."
Last Tuesday (2/4), Kelsea played a concert in Detroit that she admitted getting through at less than 100 percent. She told the crowd she was sick, and they, in turn, helped her get through the more difficult songs.
