Blake Lively Reacts To Taylor Swift ACM Nominations
It’s not very often that a movie actress like Blake Lively gets two nominations from the Academy of Country Music, but it happened this year when Blake was nominated for Taylor Swift’s video “I Bet You Think About Me” (Taylor’s Version). She directed and produced the video.
Lively walked the red carpet at Michael Kors’ Fall-Winter 2022 show at New York Fashion Week last night (2/15) and chatted about her new nominations with ET. Blake said, “Academy of Country Music was not on my vision board.”
When asked what was next in her music career, she quipped, “Oh my gosh, I don’t know, I don’t know.” She then joked, “Tell Beyoncé to stop calling me!”
Other nominees in the Video of the Year category are Chris Young and Kane Brown for “Famous Friends,” Miranda Lambert and Elle King for “Drunk (And I Don’t Wanna Go Home),” Jason Aldean and Carrie Underwood for “If I Didn’t Love You,” and Carly Pearce and Ashley McBryde for “Never Wanted To Be That Girl.”
The ACM Awards will air live on Prime Video on March 7, 2022, at 8 pm ET. The show will be hosted by Dolly Partin, Jimmie Allen, and Gabby Barrett.
