Garth Brooks And Trisha Yearwood Share Relationship Advice
Garth Brooks and his wife, Trisha Yearwood, are the perfect examples of a happy and blessed couple. We caught up with the couple recently and talked about Valentine’s Day. Garth told us, “Valentine’s Day is what Miss Yearwood’s all about. She’s my cape and my Kryptonite. I can do anything when she’s beside me, and I can do absolutely nothing when she’s not.”
Trisha adds, “It’s not really about the day. It’s the daily things – the little things that aren’t little at all. Things like making your coffee in the morning, picking up something at the grocery store that you know your partner likes – you know, like M&Ms. Just knowing that special somebody has your back. That’s what a valentine is to me.”
As for advice for couples everywhere, Brooks shares, “Only you know what works for your relationship. With that said, the foolproof, never-fail answer is your partner is always right. I would say – to guys especially – if she says, ‘Oh, I don’t want flowers,’ or, ‘Please don’t buy me any candy,’ do NOT believe her!”

Yearwood laughs and says, “If she tells you that she doesn’t need anything for Valentine’s Day, get her something anyway. Trust me.”
Garth even shared the perfect Valentine’s Day Song for him and Trisha, noting it’s 2001’s “One More Day” by Diamond Rio.
The country music royalty couple has been married for 18 years and celebrated their wedding anniversary in December (12/10). Trisha posted a photo of two separate sets of flowers and revealed how similar the couple is on Instagram.
Yearwood captioned the flower photo, “When your husband sends you flowers, and you send him flowers, and the card says exactly the same thing! #happy18 #love #morethanever.”
Many of Trisha’s million Instagram followers reacted to the post, including one who wrote, “How sweet. Happy Anniversary.” Another fan commented, “Happy Anniversary, lovely couple!!”
