Jason Aldean is well known for his tattoos.

Sunday was National Tattoo Day and we couldn’t be more excited to show off a country or singer or two that we love!

Tattoos are oftentimes a celebrate of art, a historic event or something extremely meaningful to the wearer. According to The Tattoopedia, the history of tattooing is epic, we can literally find tattoo examples far into prehistoric times preserved within mummies! There is also archeological evidence where the ‘Iceman,’ which is the natural mummy found in the Alps during 1991, bore about 61 tattoos and carbon dated at 3250 B.C.

Finding the best tattoo artist to fulfill your artistic vision is crucial to this process. Savedtattoo.com advises us to first know what design we want to get tattooed and go from there.

“Not every tattoo artist specializes in all tattoo designs out there. Some tattooists excel at specific designs, which makes them super qualified for your tattoo (if that’s what you want, of course).”

Secondly, figure out your tattoo budget! This may truly be a case of “you get what you pay for” and when it comes to a lifetime piece of art on yourself, don’t skimp on quality just to save money.

He also added the first initials of his sister’s kids whom he adopted after their dad’s death (his sister having previously passed away).
