The Adventures Of Sarah & Mila: Raven Rock State Park

On my latest adventure, Mila and I decided to take a little drive out to Raven Rock by nearby Lillington, NC. It was a clear, beautiful day. Sunshine. High near 73. And I was itching for nature!

Raven Rock can get quite popular during the summer time, so I decided to visit in the middle of the afternoon on a Wednesday. If you've never been, Raven Rock State Park is a great retreat for families. They offer camping areas as well as an equestrian area on the Cape Fear River's North bank. Of course the massive Raven Rock itself is the landmark we all go out to see.

Mila being her goofy self enjoys finding the biggest stick she can and carrying it with her proudly as we hike along the trails, wagging her tail and friendly greeting everyone we pass. Below are some pictures of our adventure.
