HARDY-Penned “God’s Country” Wins Single of the Year
The CMA Awards may have only presented two awards so far, but already a 2019 Stars & Guitars artist has been involved in a winner!
HARDY was a co-writer on Blake Shelton’s smash hit “God’s Country,” which just won Single of the Year. While the award is not a songwriter’s award, it certainly takes a strong song to set it up for the award. Single of the Year is presented primarily for engineering and sound mixing.
“God’s Country” was up for Song of the Year, which would have given HARDY his first CMA Award, but that award went Luke Combs’ “Beautiful Crazy.”
