Thomas Rhett and his wife Lauren are expecting their third child any day now and now Thomas’ dad, Rhett Akins and his new wife Sonya are expecting their first child together, making the younger Rhett’s unborn baby an aunt or an uncle right away.
The elder Akins’ wife Sonya posted to Instagram, “For this child we have prayed 1 Samuel 1:27. We are so excited to share that we will be adding a sweet bundle of joy to our lives next year!! Swipe to see our gender reveal!! (It didn’t go as planned) but it was still perfect to us!! We can not wait to meet baby Akins!!!”
The couple are expecting a baby boy.
