Kelsea Ballerini has released a remix of her new single, “Hole In The Bottle,” and Shania Twain is her featured guest.
Ballerini reveals that the collaboration came out of an e-mail to from Twain. “I got an email from ‘something Twain,’ and I’m like, ‘Is this Shania?’ And, basically, she had started the conversation of, ‘Let’s do something together,'” Kelsea told Taste of Country.
After throwing different ideas around, Kelsea suggested they make her new single, “Hole In The Bottle,” into a duet. “It’s kind of catchy, and she could kill this. And what if she just added to the fire?'”
It looks like Kelsea was dropping some Easter eggs about the new duet during her CMA performance on Wednesday night. Her outfit was reminiscent of Shania’s suit in the “Man! Feel Like A Woman” video, and at the end of the song, Kelsea exclaimed, “Let’s go, girls!”
