Carly Pearce's next single at country radio is a duet with Chris Stapleton called "We Don't Fight Anymore." The new song will be available everywhere on June 16.

Carly said of the new collaboration, "I've always wanted to write music that makes people feel something – whether that is feeling seen, less alone, happy, or even uncomfortable. 'We Don't Fight Anymore' felt like I was writing one of those stories that, whether or not we want to include it in our social media highlight reel, we've either been there or are living there right now."

She added, "Having Chris Stapleton join me on this song was a dream come true, and he unlocked an element to the story that I didn't even know it needed."

Pearce writes the new song alongside frequent collaborators Shane McAnally and Pete Good. The tune marks the first new music since her third studio album, 29: Written In Stone.

Carly posted the new of the new song on Instagram. Many fans reacted to the post, including one who wrote, "Award-winning before we even hear it!!" Another fan commented, "This!!! Keep Truth in Songs."

Later this week, Pearce is selling off some of the outfits in her closet for the second year in a row at CMA Fest. This time, the money will go to an animal charity close to her heart.

Carly posted the news to her Instagram along with a drawing of her closet and her two dogs, Johnny and June. She wrote, "So excited to be bringing Carly's Closet back for the 2nd year in a row at #CMAFest! It has been so fun looking at all of my wardrobe and finding some good pieces for y'all to choose from. Per Johnny & June's request, we are excited to announce the @aspca as Carly's Closet's charitable partner. See y'all there!"

Not all country stars, or country superstars for that matter, can say they are Grammy winners. It's arguably the most coveted award in the music business and is voted on by music peers. Some artists never get a single Grammy nod in their careers, even though they sell millions and millions of albums worldwide.

That is not the case for Carly Pearce. She won her first Grammy earlier this year (2023) in the "Best Duo/Group Performance" category for "Never Wanted To Be That Girl," a duet with Ashley McBryde.

Carly said shortly after she won her Grammy with her friend Ashley, "We just learned that this is the first time that all females have won this award in this particular category. I always loved Ashley's music. I just was a fan and asked her if she'd write a song with me. So, to see this song do what it's done. And just continue to show the girls that are coming up behind us that you can write your truth, and you can do everything that you want in this business. I feel very, very lucky and to do it with somebody that I respect so much as an artist and as a person."

As Pearce celebrates her 33rd birthday today (4/24), we rank seven of her best songs, many of which led her to Grammy stardom, including the song she won the honor for.

7 - "Closer to You" - (2018)

A smooth listen, this song was released in November 2018 as the first single from her self-titled second studio album.

6 - "Hide the Wine" - (2017)

Pearce said that she wanted to record the song before she even had a record contract and was able to record it after another artist (Little Big Town) had declined it. The song is about "having a little too much to drink and then calling an old flame that you probably shouldn't."

5 - "Every Little Thing" - (2017)

Her debut single and her very first number-one song. Carly wrote the song with Emily Shackelton and Busbee, who worked with many artists and died of brain cancer in 2019. Busbee also produced the song.

4 - "Next Girl" - (2020)

This song has a lot of sass to it. This song was co-written by Pearce not long after her divorce from Michael Ray and was the lead single from her third studio album, "29: Written in Stone."

3 - "What He Didn't Do" - (2022)

A song about what her significant other does not do in the relationship. After the song was released, Pearce asked her fans on social media to relate to the song by sharing what their exes did not do.

2 - "I Hope You're Happy Now" (with Lee Brice) - (2019)

Carly co-wrote "I Hope You're Happy Now" with Luke Combs, Randy Montana, and Jonathan Singleton. Recorded as a duet with Lee Brice, it told the story of a breakup from both sides and was inspired by her own past relationship. Combs was originally going to be featured on the song, but when he chose to step down, Pearce reached out to Brice, who was impressed by the lyrics.

1 - "Never Wanted to Be That Girl" (with Ashley McBryde) - (2021)

This Grammy-winning song was performed on a handful of Country Music award shows. This gem of a song also won the 2022 CMA For "Musical Event of the Year."
