Carly Pearce’s Dreams Come True Again

Carly Pearce will play on the big stage at Nissan Stadium at CMA Fest tomorrow night (6/8) for the second time in her career. Her first CMA Fest Nissan Stadium performance was last year, and Wynonna Judd joined her on stage for a few songs. Before that, Carly played the CMA Fest's Riverfront stage for up-and-coming artists in 2019.

Pearce recently told us that playing Nissan Stadium at CMA Fest was a goal. She said, "I've always dreamt about playing the big stage at CMA Fest, and I know that you can't do that unless you have hit songs. So being able to have four, I feel like we'll just keep the energy really big."

She added, "I think it will mean so much to me to have a full stadium singing words back to me that I wrote at a place that I have dreamt of playing my whole life."

Also on the Nissan Stadium stage at CMA Fest tomorrow night (6/8) will be Luke Combs, Dan + Shay, Jordan Davis, and Tyler Hubbard.

Pearce is selling off some of the outfits in her closet for the second year in a row at CMA Fest this week (6/8). This time, the money will go to an animal charity close to her heart.

Carly posted the news to her Instagram along with a drawing of her closet and her two beloved dogs, Johnny and June. She wrote, "So excited to be bringing Carly's Closet back for the 2nd year in a row at #CMAFest! It has been so fun looking at all of my wardrobe and finding some good pieces for y'all to choose from. Per Johnny & June's request, we are excited to announce the @aspca as Carly's Closet's charitable partner. See y'all there!"

Many fans reacted to the news, including the charity she is helping. The ASPCA responded to her post, writing, "Woohoo! Thank you for your partnership." A fan reacted, "Okay, so maybe I'm going to Nashville next week..." One more fan said, "This is such a cool thing you do!!"

Not all country stars, or country superstars for that matter, can say they are Grammy winners. It's arguably the most coveted award in the music business and is voted on by music peers. Some artists never get a single Grammy nod in their careers, even though they sell millions and millions of albums worldwide.

That is not the case for Carly Pearce. She won her first Grammy earlier this year (2023) in the "Best Duo/Group Performance" category for "Never Wanted To Be That Girl," a duet with Ashley McBryde.

Carly said shortly after she won her Grammy with her friend Ashley, "We just learned that this is the first time that all females have won this award in this particular category. I always loved Ashley's music. I just was a fan and asked her if she'd write a song with me. So, to see this song do what it's done. And just continue to show the girls that are coming up behind us that you can write your truth, and you can do everything that you want in this business. I feel very, very lucky and to do it with somebody that I respect so much as an artist and as a person."
