Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office Hiring Event July 19; New Hires Could Get $2,500 Signing Bonus

The good folks over at the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office are doing some hiring, and a job could end up landing you a $2,500 signing bonus.

The Sheriff's Office is holding a hiring event on July 19, with same-day interviews for Detention Officer, Detention Officer Cadet, Deputy Sheriff and Deputy Sheriff Cadet positions.

The event will be at the NC WORKS office at 490 N. McPherson Church Road in Fayetteville, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on July 19.

Newly-hired deputies and detention officers are eligible for a $2,500 signing bonus after academy graduation.

"The primary goal of this event is to connect job seekers with career opportunities within the Sheriff’s Office," Cumberland County Sheriff's Office said in a release.
