Busch Light And Plenty Of Fish Team Up To Help Singles Find ‘Reel Love’
People are gearing up for fishing season, which is right around the corner. To celebrate, Busch Light is teaming up with the dating app Plenty of Fish. They’re helping “fish-loving” singles hook a “reel catch.”
Of course, some of us are aware of the bad rap fishing profile pictures get. But a recent Plenty of Fish survey of more than 12,000 members revealed that nearly 25% of its members are more likely to message someone if their profile features a fish pic.
According to research from the Outdoor Industry Association, 54.5 million Americans have engaged in fishing activities in the last few years.
“Our research reveals that the majority of singles (67%) enjoy fishing, and 70% would like to go fishing on a date,” said Shannon Smith, PR Director, Plenty of Fish. “Our partnership with Busch Light and the launch of the Fish Pic Badge supports our brand ethos of being a more welcoming place to date, while also providing our outdoor-activity loving singles a chance to find meaningful connections over shared interests,” they added.
How Fish Lovers Can Hook a Match With Busch Light And Plenty of Fish
To connect with fellow anglers who are single and navigating the world of dating, Plenty of Fish members can add the new Fish Pic Badge to their profiles and celebrate a shared love of fishing. The launch of the Fish Pic Badge coincides with the annual release of Busch Light’s limited-edition Fishing Cans.
From March 5-24, US-based 21+ Plenty of Fish singles who use the Fish Pic Badge have the chance to win the ultimate fish lovers prize bundle. To enter, all users have to do is upload a screenshot of their profile to www.busch.com/plentyoffish. Those with profiles featuring a picture of themselves holding a fish will receive a second bonus entry.
