The U.S. Women’s Open is underway at Pine Needles Lodge and Golf Club in Southern Pines, and what a great first day of play we had Thursday.
Despite the sweltering heat on the course, Mina Harigae shot a course record 64, with a staggering nine birdies on the day. She also had two bogeys, and is one shot ahead of amateur Ingrid Lindblad.
