Instagram is aiming at becoming a less stressful place thanks to some new features that are currently being tested.

At Facebook’s F8 Conference, Instagram head Adam Mosseri said the app is currently testing hiding likes from viewers of a post, but the post’s creator will still be able to see who liked their content. Instagram hopes this will put more focus on creativity and self-expression instead of the app being strictly about popularity. A spokesperson told TechCrunch the feature is currently being tested with a small percentage of users in Canada.

While hiding likes is one part of making Instagram a more pleasant place, Mosseri said the app is testing other features in the effort to curb bullying. Those features include:

“Nudge”: When commenting on an Instagram post, filters will be able to detect whether a user might be about to post a mean comment. Users will then receive a “nudge” to inform them their post might be offensive and allow the user to rethink their comment.

“Away Mode”: This will allow users to suspend their account and take a break from Instagram without having to delete their account.

“Manage Interactions“: This will allow users to set limits on how specific users interact with them, including allowing/not allowing users to comment on their post or send them DMs.

Instagram also announced three new features that will be rolled out with the app’s new updates within the coming weeks. Those features include:

Being Able to Shop Directly from Creators: Instead having to locate links in bios or comments, users will be able to tap on a post and be able to buy various items within the Instagram app.

Donation Stickers in Instagram Stories: Want to raise money for your favorite nonprofit? You can now do that within Instagram Stories with the Donation Sticker.

New Camera Function: The new camera function will allow users to share photo and video and utilize stickers and filters in a more streamlined process.
