America’s Got Talent has given us some amazing acts over the years, and we might just be seeing the launch new country trio, Chapel Hart.
The group, comprised of family members from Mississippi, performed their original song “You Can Have Him, Jolene” on this week’s episode and blew the judges away!
With catchy lyrics and an updated perspective on what she deserves, they deliver a sassy country gal empowerment jam.
In a show first, the judges banded together to award them the golden buzzer, despite there being no more golden buzzers left to give! Check out the video below, it’s not hard to see why the judges made this wise choice:
Dolly Parton even chimed in on her thoughts on the performance, and social media lit up in support of Chapel Hart on America’s Got Talent.
Simon Cowell had kind words for them on the show, “”Trust me, I needed you today,” he said. “That was fantastic. I love you.”
The group highlighted the struggles they have faced in breaking through in Nashville.
“We’ve been trying to break into Nashville for the last couple of years, but it’s been kind of hard. Country music doesn’t always look like us.”
