Christmas time is here, and there are events all month long to celebrate the season in and around Fayetteville.

From parades rom parades, to singing Christmas trees, to the Polar Express, the Nutcracker and a whole lot more, there’s a lot to celebrate.

We’ll keep adding things to this list throughout the season, and if you have any to add, send them along to [email protected] and we’ll get them added.

    The Polar Express Movie Night at Southeastern Community College in Whiteville, N.C.
    5:00pm-9:00pm
    Bring your chairs, warm coats, and blankets for a fun Holiday movie. All are welcome.
    Admissions: FREE
    The Polar Express: On Christmas Eve, a young boy embarks on a magical adventure to the North Pole on the Polar Express train, while learning about friendship, bravery, and the spirit of Christmas.
    We will have Barefoot Brew on campus serving delicious coffee drinks, gourmet hot chocolate and more available for purchase.
    *FIRST 50 GUESTS WILL RECEIVE A FREE DRINK!
    Activities include:
    · Letters to Santa
    · Train ride
    · Reindeer Food Making Station (Fundraiser)
    · Elf Dust Station (Fundraiser)
    · Reindeer Toss (Game)
    · Pin the Tail on the Reindeer (Game)

  • Holiday Brass December 9, 2022

    Holiday Brass, presented by the Fayetteville Symphony Orchestra is scheduled for Dec. 9 at Haymount United Methodist Church, 1700 Fort Bragg Road, starting at 7:30 p.m. This event is open to the public, and tickets are $5 to $32. Selected pieces include Tchaikovsky’s “The Nutcracker Suite,” Leontovich’s “Carol of the Bells,” and other favorite holiday songs such as “Little Drummer Boy” and “O Come, O Come, Emmanuel,” among others.  To purchase tickets or for more information, visit the Fayetteville Symphony Orchestra website, its ticket page, or contact Aubrey Davidson at [email protected] or 910-433-4690.

  • Pictures with the Grinch December 9, 2022

    Pictures with the Grinch, hosted by ERA Strother Real Estate, is scheduled for Dec. 9 from 3 to 6 p.m. at their Fayetteville office, 225 Ray Ave., suite 202. This event is free and open to the public. Pictures will be sent to families after the event.  For more information, call 910-864-2325.
