Jelly Roll Gets Physical With WWE Stars In Nashville For Monday Night Raw
It was mayhem in Music City when world-famous country megastar Jelly Roll showed up to WWE Monday Night Raw. But Jelly wasn’t content to simply enjoy the show from his front row seat. The larger-than-life artist got in the middle of the action as well!
As a fan of both country music and pro-wrestling, I always love when my two passions join forces. The last time something like that happened was when Brock Lesnar took the stage at a Zach Bryan show back in August.
Go figure that the next big wrestling and country crossover would take place in Nashville. Honestly, I’m embarrassed I didn’t see it coming sooner.
Welcome to #WWERaw, @jellyroll615!

Jelly Roll’s WWE experience began innocently enough. The multi-platinum performer first appeared in a backstage segment with some of Raw’s most prominent tag teams, including the Creed Brothers, The New Day, and Alpha Academy.
The meeting was soon interrupted by the fan-favorite R-Truth, who had returned from injury over the weekend at Survivor Series: WarGames. Though it seems that R-Truth was expecting there to be an actual plate of jelly rolls instead. Never change, Truth!
But Jelly Roll’s night was far from over. He soon joined the crowd in the Bridgestone Arena to watch the rest of the show, including the main event match where a returning Randy Orton faced off against “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio.
Deep into the match Dom and his Judgment Day cohort JD McDonagh attempted to cut their losses and leave the match. What they didn’t account for, however, was their exit being cut off by a long-haired son of a sinner.
After a bit of jaw-jacking, the CMA Award winner decided the time for talk was over and shoved McDonagh down to the ground with tremendous force. The crowd erupted as Jelly Roll then pushed Dominik back into the direction of The Viper Randy Orton, who put the final nail in the coffin with a thunderous RKO for the pin and the win.
In a backstage interview after the show, Randy Orton had the chance to personally thank Jelly Roll for the assist. Jelly explained his actions as simply “helping my boy”, which the Apex Predator and fellow Tennessean appreciated greatly.
Jelly Roll has had an incredible year with the release of his Whitsitt Chapel album, as well as his wildly successful Backroad Baptism Tour. And just one week before his 40th birthday, he got to cross off another landmark achievement from his 2023 bingo card with his brief but impactful foray into the world of professional wrestling.
Monday Night Raw? More like Monday Night Roll!
