What a wild run Michael Ray has had to start his career, and we can’t wait to have him here in Fayetteville for Stars & Guitars!

With two full-length albums released under Atlantic Nashville in his career, Michael has had eight radio singles. Of those eight, five of them have gone Gold, and one went Platinum! That’s an amazing run.

Michael had his first No. 1 right out of the gate, reaching the top of the Country Airplay chart with “Kiss You in the Morning.”

The next year, he got that Platinum hit with “Think a Little Less.” And in 2018 he just missed the top of the chart with “One That Got Away.”

But his 2020 single did NOT get away, as “Whiskey and Rain” vaulted to No. 1! His latest single “Holy Water” is a fun track that’s gotten up to No. 32 so far!

  Moving on can always be tough, and this song is dang-near perfect in illustrating the imbalance that sometimes exists.

• 4. Think a Little Less

  Michael does sing about things other than breakups. This ode to a relationship starting off hot is GOOOOOOD.

• 5. One That Got Away

  Yeah, she’s definitely gonna be a hell of a one that got away. What a great song.
