Happy Monday, Friends! It’s a beautiful spring day in North Carolina which means sunshine, windows down, and new music blasting.
First on this week’s playlist is our friend Corey Kent. I got to briefly talk to Corey during our Country Radio Seminar and he is so thankful for the success he has had. You may remember Corey’s huge hit Wild As Her. Well, I am equally as obsessed with this new one titled This Heart. Corey Kent appeared on the New Faces show and dinner in Nashville during Country Radio Seminar and the room erupted into applause after he performed! I think this will be another big song for Corey.
My second artist is no stranger to the Big 95-7, Mr. Jackson Dean. He was a standout favorite during our 2023 Stars & Guitars and had a huge breakout success with Don’t Come Lookin’. I remember meeting Jackson for the first time and his talent was undeniable. His energy permeated the air and you knew you were in the presence of something special and unique. Watching the little ways Jackson has grown over the past 2 years has been so fun and rewarding. He still remembers us and our show and the love we gave him so early on! And last but certainly not least, we have the new radio single from George Birge. I feel like Cowboy Songs is going to be another huge hit for George! It follows in the footsteps of his breakout single Mind On You. He released an EP back in 2022 but is highly anticipated to drop another 7 new songs in April. He performed Cowboy Songs during the New Faces show and dinner at Country Radio Seminar and it was a giant smash that the whole room looked forward to blasting on the radio! I know KML will be.
