Police In North Carolina Investigating Murder-Suicide During Florence
Authorities in Beaufort, North Carolina are investigating a murder-suicide that occurred as Tropical Storm Florence approached the area.
On Friday, the bodies of Pauly Lewis and Alicia Lewis were found inside their home in Carteret County.
The two were married.
According to WRAL, authorities were dispatched to 128 Elnora Jones yesterday after a call came in for help.
It is not clear at this time who placed the call.
Upon arrival, they found two people dead inside the home.
At this time, their deaths appear to be due to a murder-suicide.
Police are still investigating to try to determine if stress from the approaching storm was a contributing factor in this case.
