Dunkin' Donuts is changing its name -- Well sort of.

Unlike IHOP's "name change" to IHOB that lasted for like a day, Dunkin' Donuts is simply dropping the latter part of their name.

The chain will soon be known as Dunkin'.

According to Business Insider, Dunkin' Donuts will officially be called Dunkin' by January of 2019.

After initially testing out the concept in Massachusetts, the company has opted to move forward with the name change.

Naturally, the thought of change was frowned upon by some members in the twitterverse, but don't fret, even when the name change is official, Dunkin' will still serve donuts.

The company has also installed a tap in several of their newer stores for nitro cold brews and beyond.

What do you think about the name change?

You have to admit, "America runs on Dunkin'" sounds better than "America runs on Dunkin' Donuts."

Right?
