Happy Monday! We’re gearing up for the holiday Memorial Day weekend. The sun is shining and I’m dreaming of being out on the lake with my friends. So let’s get this playlist going!
First we have my favorite band in Country music right now, Old Dominion. I love their effortless vibes and the music is contagious. Even though this is a breakup song of sorts, I love the sentimental words and the fact that you can move forward from a relationship without regrets.
Russell Dickerson played around with his sound on this last album. She’s Why is one of those female anthems that I can see the ladies (including myself!) going crazy for live at his concerts. I don’t know why, but in my head I picture a couple that just got married having fun on the dance floor and the husbands like “Yeah, that’s MY wife”
Last but not least we’re throwing it back to the 90s with the New Radicals. This song is a staple in our household. It’s a feel good his of nostalgia and the perfect summer day jam! If you think you don’t remember it, hit play and the memories will come flooding back!
