Every month there is a plethora of new music for us to start playing on KML! But it’s never an easy process to select which new country songs we will add to the playlists.
In December, we’ve added a lot of great tracks from some established stars like Dustin Lynch and Lady A. But we also made room for some newcomers like Dylan Marlowe and Ashley Cooke.
Balancing what music we play, and when we play it, is a non-stop challenge. We want to make sure we’re giving you a great mix of new music, songs that are huge in the format right now, and some of your all-time favorites. And there’s only so many spots we can drop those into every day! So we’re also having to say goodbye to some songs, even if we don’t necessarily want to. Fortunately, we bring some of the back now and then!
This year brought so much great music, and later in the month we’re going to break down which songs were played the most, and which ones you liked best. But for now, let’s take a look at some of the new country songs we started playing in the month of December.
