Free Planet Fitness Memberships for Teens in Fayetteville This Summer
Summer break is on it’s way for a lot of kids in Fayetteville, and Planet Fitness is ready to make sure they have a chance to stay active this summer, with free memberships for teens.
From May 15 through August 31, kids 14-19 years old can jump on the Planet Fitness Summer Pass. This is the third year Planet Fitness has offered this popular summertime program at its 2,400+ locations.
High schoolers can visit PlanetFitness.com/SummerPass to register for the program. Free club access for registered teens started on Monday, May 15 and lasts through Thursday, August 31. Teens under 18 must register with a parent or guardian either online or in-club.
“We’re excited to officially open our doors to high school students today and provide a safe and Judgement Free space for teens to focus on their mental and physical health this summer as part of our High School Summer Pass program,” said Chris Rondeau, Chief Executive Officer at Planet Fitness. “At Planet Fitness, we’re proud of our commitment to give teens free access during the summer so they can develop long-lasting, healthy habits and experience all the benefits of fitness.”
Additionally, members of the program can submit a video to try and win a $10,000 scholarship.
“All summer long, we’ll have a High School Summer Pass™ leaderboard keeping track of the number of sign ups from each school. At the end of the summer, the top 10 schools on the leaderboard will each receive a $10,000 grant*! The winners can use these grants for new athletic equipment, field renovations, physical fitness classes, and health and wellness classes. Invite your friends to join with you and track your school on the leaderboard!”
The Summer Pass is only valid at your home Planet Fitness location, which if you’re around Fayetteville, is at 1916 Skibo Road, in the Market Fair Mall shopping area. The facility is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
