Two Fayetteville Stars and Guitars Artists Voted New Faces of Country Music
What a wonderful year it has been for basically all of our Stars & Guitars 2023 alums, but particularly for Conner Smith and Megan Moroney, who made the visit to Fayetteville this year.
Back on November 13, we were lucky enough to have an amazing lineup! Did you catch my reference?.. LUCKY! (as in Megan Moroney’s debut album)
And now, two of our artists have been voted by country industry professionals as representing the future of Country Music and being a part of a new class of artists we see having fruitful careers!
Megan Moroney and Conner Smith were selected as “New Faces” by the Country Radio Seminar group, which we are part of. Moroney and Smith were selected this year to represent those New Faces, along with Corey Kent, Dillon Carmichael and George Birge.
Not only am I extremely proud of Megan and Conner, but it shows that here at WKML we are truly connected to having our ear to Nashville. It’s true, some of these artists haven’t had a number-one song…. YET! (Megan has!) Still, we promise to continue bringing you not only the big stars you know and love, but those that are also well on their way to being superstars!
Congratulations to Megan and Conner on being selected to the New Faces program. We can’t wait to see what’s next.
