Fan-Made ‘Frasier’ Reboot Trailer Takes Show on A Dark Turn
We all loved Frasier back in the day and it’s beyond time for a reboot to hit television.
Kelsey Grammer announced that very thing, as he said a new version of the classic NBC sitcom was coming to Paramout+, and we all got a little excited. But that was back in February of 2021, and we’ve heard very little since.
Or have we?
A YouTube video popped up in June with a “trailer” for the new show, but with a twist. Here’s the description from the YouTube account MP Misc:
“Frasier is back. Dr. Frasier Crane resurfaces after a 20-year absence, but with his return comes a reckoning that will alter not only the lives of those he once loved, but the very foundation of Seattle itself. Emmy Award winner Kelsey Grammer reprises his role as the renowned psychiatrist and radio personality in the chilling conclusion to the Frasier saga.”
If that doesn’t get you pumped, watch this:
Now, obviously this isn’t real, and is just a fan-made trailer for the Frasier reboot using clips from the original show, but wouldn’t it be AWESOME if this were real?
Grammer said back in July that they may start shooting for the ACTUAL new show this year:
“There were some conversations about October, maybe a little later. I don’t know,” Grammer said on The Talk. “There are a couple of other things coming up. We’ve developed a couple of other projects that look like they’re going to shoot first.”
