Morgan Wallen Headlining Carolina Country Music Fest in 2023
Mark your calendars for June 8-11, 2023, as Morgan Wallen is set to be a part of Carolina Country Music Fest in Myrtle Beach next year.
The huge multi-day concert festival made the big announcement Friday, as Early Bird ticket passes went on sale last week.
“We’ve heard you guys asking for this fella to return to CCMF and we’ve been working on it for a few years now,” Carolina Country Music Fest said in a release. “We are super pumped today to release the big secret. He partied with us back in 2018 on our second stage when he was just getting started and now he’s going to be headlining our Coors Light Main Stage for 2023! It’s an amazing thing to watch the fella become headliner status – that’s what we’re all about at CCMF! You never know who the next Eric Church, George Strait, or Garth Brooks could be.”
And they are right. Wallen has become arguably the biggest star in country music the last couple of years. His “Dangerous” double album was the biggest album of 2021 in all of music, period!
Additional headliners will be announced in the coming weeks, but it’ll be hard to top Wallen on that list.
Tickets for the festival start at $199 for 3-day general admission that includes Thursday night shows. They go up to $1,799 for 4-day Super VIP passes. Military and first-responder discounts are available as well.
KML fans know Wallen well, as he was in Fayetteville for Stars & Guitars in 2019, alongside HARDY, Chris Janson, Russell Dickerson and Kip Moore. He was in Raleigh recently for an epic sold out show at Coastal Credit Union Music Park.
Morgan Wallen currently has the No. 2 song in country radio, with Wasted On You already hitting No. 1, and it will be great having him back at Carolina Country Music Fest next year.
Mornin’. We ‘thought you should know…’ 😉
