Second Harvest Food Bank Free Food Distribution Set for Saturday in Hope Mills

Second Harvest Food Bank Food Distribution Saturday, December 9, 2023 at South View High School in Hope Mills, N.C.

A BIG 957 thank you very much to the Second Harvest Food Bank! On Saturday, December 9, 2023, the Food Bank will hold a FREE food distribution.

The drive-through event starts at 9:00a.m. and ends when all of the food is gone.

The location will be South View High School on Elk Road in Hope Mills.

In this part of North Carolina, hunger affects 1 out of every 6 people. Another sad fact is that 1 out of ever 4 kids don’t have enough food.

Also, through the Second Harvest Food Bank, you can apply for SNAP benefits. SNAP is the Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program. For those that meet the program requirements, you will
be provided healthy food assistance for you and your family.

One more thing, if you need help filling out your SNAP application, contact Haylee at 910-485-6923 extension 4532. You can also get help by emailing SHFBSNAP@actionpathways.ngo.

The address for the December 9th food distribution will be South View High School, 4184 Elk Road in Hope Mills, N.C.
