JetBlue Adding Wilmington to Boston Flights in 2025 in ILM Expansion
This spring, JetBlue Airways kicks off daily flights linking Wilmington International Airport to Boston Logan. The service runs from April 30 through October 25.
“We’re excited to bring JetBlue’s award-winning service to Wilmington this spring, connecting travelers to the vibrant city of Boston,” said Dave Jehn, vice president of network planning and airline partnerships at JetBlue, to FlyILM.com.
This makes the eighth airline at the North Carolina airport. Through Boston’s hub, travelers can now reach 77 other destinations, from European cities to Caribbean getaways.
The A220 aircraft will fly passengers in comfort, with 140 seats spread across 28 rows. Each seat is 18.6 inches wide and reclines two inches.
The new planes come with features today’s travelers want. You’ll find USB-C ports and power outlets at every seat, plus free TV and movies. The windows are larger and brighter, and the overhead bins hold more luggage.
“We are so excited to add a new air carrier to our lineup at ILM, with the addition of JetBlue. JetBlue’s nonstop service to Boston gives travelers even more ways to fly to Boston and all their great connections including many international connections to Europe,” Jeff Bourk, ILM Airport Director said.
Two modern Pratt & Whitney engines power these planes smoothly, running quieter than older planes while burning 25% less fuel. They can travel 3,300 nautical miles without refueling.
Travelers relax in vegan leather seats with memory foam cushioning. Need extra legroom? Choose from six rows of “Even More Space” seats.
The southeastern North Carolina hub adds $3.3 billion to the local economy, according to state aviation experts.
