Where Were You Two Years Ago Tonight
My how time flies when you are having fun. Can you believe we are just a few days away from our annual BIG 957 WKML Stars & Guitars show at
the Crown? Last week I was askedwhat was my favorite Stars & Guitars show? Great question of which I have no easy answer. I do remember 2017, the year Big & Rich headlined the show. Talk about an all-star lineup. Drake White, Carly Pearce, Lindsay Ell, Dylan Scott, Frankie Ballard AND North Carolina’s very own Scotty McCreery. On stage there were so many magical moments. As expected, Big & Rich did a superb job performing, interacting with the other artists and keeping the show moving. Another story that I remember, was one that didn’t make it to the stage. As I mentioned earlier, not only was Carly Pearce on the show, she was also sitting atop the Country music chart with her first number one song, “Every Little Thing.” Carly was on cloud nine this November 13th evening. We at the BIG 957 were over the moon as well having the #1 Country artist in town. It seemed everyone in the world
knew who Carly Pearce was. Everyone except, Big & Rich. No kidding. They had no idea who Carly was. What B&R did know was that a chart topping song is a big deal. Prior to the show, John Rich asked, who is Carly Pearce? On stage, it was as if they had been best friends for years. This year’s show on November 18th will be another incredible event as we move into the Crown Coliseum. A new venue, a much larger audience and 6 awesome artists working hard for those in attendance. I hope to see you Monday night. At this point, you cannot buy tickets but you can win them. Check WKMLStarsandGuitars.com for your chance to win tickets. Good luck!
