Kick Butt Tip of the Day for October 12: Never Ever Stop Chasing Your Dreams
If you remember the popular tv show “The Jefferson’s,” you may not know the awesome story about actor Sherman Hemsley who played George Jefferson. After a stint in the U.S. Air Force, Hemsley got a full-time job working in the Philadelphia post office. After work, he took acting classes at the Academy of Dramatic Arts. Hemsley honed his craft working on Broadway around Philly. His big break didn’t come until age 35 when he was offered the role of George Jefferson. The show enjoyed 11 very successful seasons.
