Exchange Club of Fayetteville BBQ Today to Raise Money for Child Abuse Prevention
Bring a friend and bring your appetite. This Friday is a huge day in Fayetteville, North Carolina as the annual Exchange Club of Fayetteville barbecue takes place.
The fundraiser will be this Friday, April 5, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.. The location will be at 2900 Village Drive right beside the Masonic Lodge.
Enjoy a wonderful plate of barbecue and help America’s oldest service organization in their efforts to fight child abuse.
Plates can be purchased on-site or you can order plates in advance by calling 910-977-6636.
In years past, the Exchange Club barbecue has provided a convenient drive-through. Simply drive up, pay your money, get your plate of barbecue and you’re back on the road in no time.
By supporting this annual barbecue, you are supporting the Exchange Club of Fayetteville and their national project, which is the prevention of child abuse. This program began back in 1979 and has been so effective that it earned the Presidential Award from the White House Office of Private Sector Initiatives.
Also, when you support the barbecue this Friday, you support the Exchange Club of Fayetteville Youth Programs. This Youth program provides scholarships on the local level and the national level as well. The Youth Program also provides opportunities to mentor the youth in our community and nation. The program also enables our youth to receive guidance as they mature into our leaders of tomorrow and the program also recognizes the service that the youth provide to our wonderful nation.
The Exchange Club was founded in the Motor City of Detroit, Michigan in 1911 and as I mentioned earlier, the Exchange Club is the oldest service organization in the nation. The mission statement of the Exchange Club is to inspire communities to become better places to live.
On behalf of the Exchange Club of Fayetteville, thank you for supporting the annual barbecue this Friday.
