One Man Two High Speed Police Chases
Out of Oxford, N.C., Kevin Lassiter was well aware that police had warrants for his arrest. So, last week when the blue lights appeared, Kevin took off leading authorities on a chase that exceeded 100 miles per hour. Police ended the chase when Lassiter fled from his vehicle and somehow got away. On Friday, the Granville County Sheriff’s Office learned of Lassiter’s location. When deputies attempted an arrest, Lassiter took off leading authorities on yet another chase. This time, those in uniform were better prepared as they performed a perfect PIT maneuver on Lassiter’s Kia Sorento. After being transported to the hospital with minor injuries, Lassiter was arrested. Lassiter is now facing a number of felony charges against him.
