Fairmont Farmers Festival Bringing Community Fun This Weekend
Consider yourself invited to this weekend’s Fairmont Farmers Festival in historic Fairmont, North Carolina.
The annual event begins Friday, October 18th with the Fairmont Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament at the Fairmont Golf Course. A Shotgun Start is scheduled for 12 noon. The format will be four person Captain’s Choice. The cost is only $50 per player and includes all course fees, range balls, lunch, beer, soft drinks, prizes and a delicious meal after the tournament.
Also on Friday, October 18th, the community is invited out Fairmont Golf Course from 7:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. for an evening of entertainment featuring a live deejay and a bar as well.
The Fairmont Golf Course is located at 11979 North Carolina Highway 130 in Fairmont, North Carolina.
Then on Saturday, October 19th, the day begins with the annual Fairmont Farmer’s Day Parade at 10:00 a.m. followed by a full day of fun for all that attend.
From 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m., there will be a Jokers MizFitz Car, Truck and Bike Show. The Car, Truck and Bile Show will be held at 421 South Main Street. If you have a vehicle and would like to enter it into the show, contact Harley at 910-707-9148.
At 12 noon, the annual Fairmont First Baptist Church Gospel Sing will take place at the Fairmont Park. Performing will be Benny and the Gospel Angels and the Next Generation Gospel Group. The sing will be hosted by Donnie Rabon. Bring the entire family and enjoy this concert and Christian fellowship.
