Lady A, Tyler Hubbard & Kelsea Ballerini Saluting Mom
Catherine Zeta-Jones
Actress Catherine Zeta-Jones who is the proud Mom of two kids, Cary and Dylan took time out to share a special message with her Mother. She wrote, “dearest Mam, on this day and every day, you inspire me and love me for everything I am and everything I am not. Could there possibly be enough days to thank you? You are my Queen. I love you Mam.”
Country Star Tyler Hubbard
Florida Georgia Line Star Tyler Hubbard says thanks to his Mother. “Probably the qualities that I got from my Mom that I’m thankful for, is a good healthy dose of stubbornness. I’m probably a little OCD. I think I got that from my mom, too, which is nice as well. If you saw my closet in my house you’d probably get a little chuckle out of that. It’s pretty ridiculous how clean and how organized all my things must be at all times. She’s also just a big hearted lady. She’s very selfless in a sense and very giving, very giving of her time. She never says no, which she should say no more. Anyways, I got a lot of good character traits from her. She’s a special lady.”
Lady A’s Hillary Scott
Lady A lead singer Hillary Scott says “I think one of the characteristics that I got from my mom is, I watched her my whole life have such a heart for people. And I think that that’s part of who she was created to be. I think that’s part of who I was created to be. But I also got to have this beautiful example of that lived out by her. And so, I would say, a big wide open heart for people.”
Country Star Kelsea Ballerini
Kelsea Ballerini recently shared a really special story about her Mom. “I forgot that it was Mother’s Day. I am really close with my Mom. It was the night before and I was like I will write her a song. I know she’ll cry. She’s a sucker for songs. So and I wrote her a song called “Oh Mama.” I couldn’t play an instrument or anything and I didn’t really know how to write a song so it was really like a poem that I sang and she cried and I remember this little feeling of that came from a really pure place and the fact that she felt that. I mean, I could just sing “Mary Had A Little Lamb” and I’m sure she would have loved that. But, there was a moment where I was like, I want to write something that feels real to me that connects with people and
makes people have emotions.”
