In April of 2022, Thomas Rhett told Esquire magazine that you don't need to compare yourself to other people. “There’s always going to be that one person in your life that’s doing it better than you are. But you can’t let comparison dictate your decisions. I did it too many times, and that’s why I ended up putting out songs or records that felt like they were chasing somebody else. I thought, maybe I got to be more like them to make it. It’s just not the truth. The best advice I can give is, always be yourself.”

I will add that you may never truly be happy if you are always comparing yourself to anyone else. You can never ever be someone else. Take the abilities and talents that you were blessed with and create something wonderful.
Let me take you back to February 27, 2024. Our Kick Butt Tip of the Day came from former NBA Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant: “At the end of every day when you look at yourself in the mirror you ask yourself, did I get better today? If the answer is yes and you do that for five years, for ten years, for fifteen years, how much better are you going to be? Are you getting better every single day? That is the question. It’s just taking small steps. You don’t try to get it all done in just one day or one week or one year. It’s the process of getting better every day and doing that for a period of years that then creates the masterpiece.”
Let's wrap up with two very doable goals: Never compare yourself to others and today strive to be better than you were yesterday.
Go get 'em tiger! God don't make no junk. You, yes you are awesome! Now go be awesome!
