Today's Kick Butt Tip is from motivational expert Tony Robbins: "Every problem is a gift. Without problems we would not grow."

So, how do you react when your plans don't go your way?  Do you just throw up your hands and quit in defeat?  Or do you think okay, I just learned one more thing not to do the next time?

Here is a great example of not giving up when there were plenty of chances to do so.  Thomas Edison refused to throw in the towel while attempting to invent the incandescent light bulb.  Today when we flick a switch, the light comes on eliminating the darkness all around.  In Edison's day, to make the darkness disappear, one had to find and then light a candle. In his day, there were no electric lights in homes.  There were no streetlights or car lights or even cars for that matter.  Yet, Thomas Edison pursued his idea.  The amazing thing is, Edison failed over one thousand times before inventing a successful light bulb that would last.  Because Thomas Edison refused to quit, we have the luxury of flipping a switch and light appears.

It is my wish that the next time a problem creeps in and interrupts your plan of success, that you will accept this momentary interruption, make the necessary corrections or adjustments and jump back your success journey.

Not all professional basketball players make all of their shots.  Only one driver can take the checkered flag at a NASCAR race.  Regardless of your goal at hand, realize that life happens.  When your plan of success gets interrupted, act swiftly to get back on track.

You are awesome now go be awesome!
