John Roberts: “Never Be Afraid To Ask Questions”
Today’s Kick Butt Tip of the Day comes from a seasoned Fox Television News anchor, John Roberts. “Never be afraid to ask questions.”
More than likely you know the name John Roberts. As I mentioned, he is currently with Fox News but actually has been a reporter and television host since 1979.
Recently, Roberts was diagnosed with P.A.F. In simpler terms, P.A.F. is a type of irregular heartbeat. Now, are you curious like me and wonder what the letters P.A.F. stand for? Paroxysmal Atrial Fibrillation.
To correct this issue, Roberts underwent surgery. There’s actually a type of surgery called an Ablation. The procedure has been approved by the FDA, the Food and Drug Administration. The procedure is successful in most cases of P.A.F.
Now that the successful surgery is behind him, Roberts strongly recommends to always ask questions and never be afraid to ask questions. Roberts also says “You know your body better than anyone. So, when you see your Doctor for a problem, don’t hesitate to make sure that your questions are fully answered that you are comfortable with the plan moving forward.”
Roberts said that he has been discussing possible surgery with his doctor since 2022. At the time he was suffering from occasional A-fib, Atrial Fibrillation. But after over 400 episodes, it was time to get something done. Once the FDA gave the procedure the green light, he gave thumbs up to his doctor.
So, in the words of John Roberts, “you know your body better than anyone. When talking with your medical professional, make sure you get all of your questions answered.”
Go get ’em tiger! God don’t make no junk. You, yes you are awesome! Now go be awesome!
